Things are getting a little wintery in the newsletter, while in real life Halloween season is ready to jump into action. Here’s some holiday artwork to jingle your bells!
Can’t go wrong with some chill(y) animals to celebrate the season. These guys aren’t specifically Christmas themed, but I have that in my portfolio, too, if that’s what you’re after.

A neighbor is growing the most stunning, gloomy-gothic dahlias and I have a wallpaper pattern in mind for them!
Squawk!
There’s never a shortage of birds in my sketchbook. Learning that pelican in French is “un pélican” feels too easy.
Recommendation Corner
The Recommendation Corner is particularly personal this time. After years of insomnia I’ve been having sustained, reasonable sleep patterns. I owe it all to a wonderful book about helping train your brain out of insomnia, written by board certified behavioral sleep specialist Dr. Jade Wu. It’s called “Hello Sleep” and, if you struggle with sleep, I can’t recommend if enough.
Unfortunately, if your insomnia is caused being repeatedly woken up by your cat at night, this book will not help you.
